What is the need?

Grand Rapids Dreams is funded through private donations, business donations, a variety of grants.
We aim to create programs that are self sustaining. For “Beyond the Corner”, our summer program for at-risk youth in Eastown, we utilize in-kind donations and volunteer work to keep the costs as low as possible. We are looking for some preliminary funding as we develop more programs and tie into the resources that are available. This will run “Beyond the Corner”, an after school tutoring program, begin a program for women in transition, develop a job club for youth, and enable us to develop additional initiatives to meet other needs in Grand Rapids. We have received 501(c)(3) status from the IRS and all donations are tax deductible.
