Real World Now

Summer and After-school Learning Enrichment for Middle school Youth and High School Freshmen.

Helping students follow their dreams to successful college, career, and life.

Our Purpose: Middle school students in Grand Rapids struggle to successfully graduate from high school and attend college. Real World Now provides engaging academic enrichment activities aligned with Grand Rapids Public School goals through project based real world  experiential learning, career mentoring, and pathways to college pathways.

Real participants who complete our program with  regular attendance will be better prepared for academic success in high school through greater engagement, great college prep awareness and increased high school graduation.

Real World Now

History: Real World Now began in summer 2010 as a summer learning experience funded through the I believe I Become summer learning initiative. It focused learning enrichment for middle school youth attending Grand Rapids Public Schools. Because of its success, we are pleased to announce that RWN will continue to meet throughout the school year. We will be meeting Tuesday and Thursday evenings, providing students with a safe place to study and get help with homework as well as continue to do the special enrichment activities that make Real World Now unique.
