Job Information	Each afternoon 3:30-5 volunteer tutors work with one or more students on homework and basic skills and serve as role models and mentors for the students. The lead teacher provides academic materials and information about student needs to the volunteer prior to the tutoring session. SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES: Strong communication and interpersonal skills Desire to work with students in grades 1-3 Respect for individual needs and different cultures Volunteer tutors are asked to commit to one or more afternoons a week.
